Meet My Mentor

Although I was not able to conduct an in person interview with my mentor, I still got in contact with her and asked some interesting questions. Noel Vadino, English teacher here at Lindenwold High School, has many layers to her personality. Her creative and positive energy allows her to connect with her students and keep them engaged in her lessons. She always wants to keep herself and her students involved. Although she is an amazing teacher, she still has her flaws. Grading on time seems to be an issue, but she tries to stay on top of it. Besides teaching, Ms. Vadino enjoys animals and sports! If she were not here at Lindenwold, she could definitely see herself as a sports anchor for ESPN, or working as a zoologist. When she’s not working, she spends a lot of time lounging with her dalmation, Gibbs. If she isn’t at home, you could always find her taking the train into the city for a night out. Some of her favorite places to eat include Royal Farms, where she goes at least twice a week, and The Cheesecake Factory, for a fancier meal. Before becoming a teacher, Ms. Vadino made sure to prove herself capable at a very young age. She knew she had to push herself since her teachers and parents invested all their time into her success. With a lot of hard work and determination, she was able to get to where she is today.
