Meet Lauren Marcinkowski MT-BC, practicing music therapist and music teacher. Lauren has a master's in elementary education, as well as a special education certification. She even works in some medical pediatric settings!
When Lauren is not working, she loves to read, play piano, and go for walks. She also enjoys running, but with a baby on the way and an old foot injury, it has been hard to keep up. This is something she hopes to continue after the baby is born in May. Since she is a hard-working, dedicated teacher, she loves to craft things for her classroom and create materials for her students and clients to use.
At the very young age of 5, Lauren started playing piano. Vocal lessons started at 9, which led her to where she is today with a Bachelor's in Music Therapy. On top of that, she's been involved in choirs and small bands her whole life.
Some other fun facts - she loves to eat! Italian, Chinese, and Mexican are her favorites, but if she can get her hands on some good old-fashioned diner breakfast... And right now, since she is pregnant, she makes sure to ask her husband for RedBerry Frozen Yogurt at least once a week. Just like me, her favorite color is teal/sea-foam green!
